Cash For The Weekend - Show Me The Money

Dear Subscriber,

I want to thank you for your patience in the delay of the CFTW magazine.

Why the delay?

With virtually every subscriber opting for the right to resell the subscription for a commission, the marketing side
of the business had to be monitored very closely. After numerous unhappy attempts of promotion I felt it my duty
to come up with new marketing ideas.

The last thing I want is for someone to subscribe to a publication which they may usually enjoy only to be left
unhappy because they spend hundreds of pounds trying to sell it on and it doesn't work out.

I know a handful of subscribers managed to make a profit but in general these subscribers already had a
database of customers.

Since first launching CFTW I have spent thousands of pounds on alternative marketing methods. Unfortunately,
these haven't worked out with the last 5,000 targeted mailing only receiving 5 sign ups. Ouch!!! I'm just glad it
was me who tested the material and not a subscriber.

The marketing material has been changed 3 times now and the trouble is you start getting promoters all using
different promotional materials and everything gets very messy.

Where I don't want to shelve the project I do feel the mag and its marketing plan needed a fresh start. A new
look, a new name and a new sales pack.

The new name of the publication will be "Show Me The Money"

The first issue will be... September 2005 Issue 1 Volume 1.

The price will remain at £59.95.

Agents will earn £40.00 per sale.

Agents will be able to take advantage of my publishers merchant facilities.

As a paid up subscriber you don't need to do anything further. You'll receive 12 issues of 'Show Me The Money'
at no further expense.

Here's what happens next...

1 - You'll receive your copy of 'Show Me The Money' early September.

2 - If you wish to continue as an agent you'll be able to request personalised sales material.

3 - During September/October 2005 I will be launching a members website and a promotional website.

Again I thank you for being patient and I sincerely apologize for the delay and any inconvenience this has
caused you.

I have sent this letter to all subscribers. However, please pass this on if you feel you need to.

Have a fantastic Bank Holiday weekend.

Kind Regards

Simon Tofield

Message from Mr. Tofield "Cash For The Weekend"

"Sorry I haven't been in touch. I've been really busy as normal.

In regards to CFTW I'll be sending emails out within the next 24 hours to
all subscribers.

New format looks good as does the sales material.

All subscribers will be given a free agency that can accept Credit Cards and
will receive the next 12 issues at no further cost. Basically starting again
so everyones next issue will be issue 1 volume 1. I think a fresh start is
best because things got a bit messy with all the trial and errors that
occurred with CFTW.

The First issue to hit doormats around the 20th August. I will be contacting
subscribers personally but if you're getting immediate grief from your
referrals please pass on this information.

Much of my previous time comsuming work is now finished and in the hands of
others meaning I can dedicate more time to this business.

Thanks for being patient with me on this" - Simon Tofield "Cash For The Weekend"

Where's my Cash For The Weekend?

I was an agent for Simon Tofield’s Cash For The Weekend project (C4W) with many of you, also subscribed to Working Hours Magazine, a subscriber to C4W too.

However, occasionally issues of C4W magazine arrived late.

We had a letter of apology from Simon Tofield, the Prime Source, early in the year stating that everyone involved can have an extra 12 months subscription to make up for the late arrival of the months issue. With the latest update we should all be on 24 months extra subscription. Read on.

Recently, it seems, another issue has gone missing and so agents who signed up as a result of my advertising have been asking me what is happening. Although I am an agent the same as anyone else and therefore in the same boat, I felt that I ought to check up on things before too many complaints arrived.

At first I was told that C4W was ceasing to be replaced by a new magazine, InterWealth, which I started to tell subscribers wishing to join and those wondering what was going on.

I’ve now been updated further, via another subscriber, and I will print a letter below written by Simon Tofield, to one of his members. This should fill you in with all that is going on and put your minds at rest. Simon Tofield will contact all his subscribers over the next few weeks regarding the latest developments.

“Cash For The Weekend has had several teething problems. Mainly due to theagency option. The original sales material was not working effectively foragents. This was causing a lot of frustration as 90% of subscribers wanted to promote it.The whole package is being given a facelift and all paid subscriberswill be re-subscribed for free for 12 issues. The new marketing material is muchpunchier and all subscribers will be allowed to promote the package and earna generous commission. One of the main reasons most agents had trouble with promotion is thelack of merchant facilities. With the new material all agents will be able toaccept Visa/Mastercard/American Express and Maestro.I'm a few weeks away from getting everything finalised but as soon aseverything is in place you'll receive a new welcome issue plus access toa dedicated website where you'll be able to download everything you needif you wish to promote it.”

That was in response to one member who asked Simon Tofield for the reason of delay in publication of C4W.

I’ve seen the new magazine promotion ‘InterWealth’ and it looks very good but I do hope that Simon doesn’t forget the hundreds of subscribers to C4W who simply want to read good content and be able to continue promoting such as a part of their home business.

I am keeping existing ads going as you can still operate your business while we wait for the changes to come into effect. If you are sending out info packs, keep on doing so as, even if the information packs are being updated, you can still bring in new-joins regardless.

If you’d like to contact Simon, his full details are in the C4W magazine welcome pack. The email address I have for him is: simon.tofield@zoom.co.uk although I, personally, can’t get a reply from it, they don’t get returned ‘unsent’, so I imagine he receives them. So do keep trying.
